I don't see the point of Guardian or Holy Veil in PvE. GoLE isn't necessary either, since Aegis isn't as expensive.

My favourite for FoW Pugs.
[Gift of Health][Reversal of Fortune][Protective Spirit][Dismiss Condition][Shield of Absorption][Divert Hexes][Selfless Spirit (Luxon)][Rebirth]
I'd love to get rid of the rez, but if things go very bad, more often than not, I'm the last one standing.

Guardian and Holy Veil do the same things in PvE as they do in PvP.
GoLE is always a return of 5 to 15e, regardless of the cost of aegis.

Totally missed the point on both counts.
Guardian and HV do the same thing, but the monsters aren't players. Holy Veil is good in PvP because it has more utility than just straight hex removal - it can be applied preemptively to slow down hexes and make them easier to interrupt, and you can pull off hexes before they're covered. Neither of these functions is particularly useful in PvE. In areas with real hex overload, you take Divert Hexes and laugh all the way to the finish line; in other areas the healing from Cure Hex or the lower recharge of Remove Hex both outweigh the benefits of Veil.
Guardian runs into the same kinds of problems as Aura of Faith - it's a low recharge, low duration prot that works much better as a pre-prot against spikes than as persistent damage mitigation. Given that PvE damage is generally diffuse damage rather than spike damage, a few seconds of 50% block isn't very compelling compared to what you could get out of Dwayna's, Patient Spirit, etc.
You missed my point about Aegis because I wasn't talking about the return on GoLE - I was talking about the need for emgt at all on a WoH bar. With Aegis at 15e there's a bit more energy pressure if you're putting it up on recharge. But with Aegis at 10e, you can play the WoH bar with no emgt at all; I've never played with active emgt aside from the old boonprot and pre-nerf ZB+GoLE builds - LoD/WoH bars just don't need it.

Small prots are used against damage over time and are generally weaker against spike damage. Guardian prevents more damage then a patient spirit can heal up, and when used wisely more then WoH can heal up. I dont see how you can compare Guardian usage from pvp to pve, especially in pve it becomes better (monsters dont swap target when they see 'block')
Though my first pick is SoA, if I got room, I'll take Guardian.

Sup?
Interrupts are useful in PvE.
Guardian is not similar to Aura of Faith in any way.
Taking a bar full of straight heals is bad.
You may not have played with active energy management, but I have.
